An Introduction to ProBoards Welcome to The Rough House Cafe: a Popeye discussion board, hosted by ProBoards. If you've never been a member of a ProBoards forum before, I hope you will find this FAQ useful. How Do I Change My Avatar?Your avatar is the picture that appears under your username. You can either link to your own avatar, hosted on your own website, or use one of the premade ones available on Sparky's. To set your avatar: [/b] 100x100) make sure the fields do say 100 and 100. 6) Scroll to the bottom and click "Modify Profile" [/ul] As you'll notice there are many other fields to be filled in on this page, so if you haven't already you can also take this opportunity to complete them! How Do I Change the Forum's Appearance? It is possible to select from a number of premade "skins" so that you can choose your favorite banner. To change your skin: If you do not like the skin you've selected or grow tired of it, you may change your skin as often as you like by repeating these steps! (More To Come...)

I've started this same thread over on my other ProBoard forum. I'll add more tips to it as I put them together. Feel free to make suggestions here (I won't lock this thread) as to stuff you think I should include - things that either took you a while to figure out or things you *still* haven't figured out.

How do we post pictures here? They have to already be hosted somewhere, you can't upload to this site. Once you have a link to an existing image online, you use the img tags, like this: [img]full url including the http part[/url]

I like Imageshack, though a lot of people like Photobucket. But there are lots of other sites, those are just the Coke and Pepsi of them.
