(Thanks for posting this link, I hope lots of people see it) As usual/always, I am rather obtuse...so is this ALL animated Popeye material? Not only the theatricals, but the KFS 'toons, the material presented on The All New Popeye Hour, The Adventures of Popeye, Popeye & Friends - I see they listed Popeye & Son but what about Private Olive Oyl? Are they even going to bother seperating the "groups" of 'toons or will people have to purchase an ep or two of Popeye & Son in order to complete their Fleischer/Famous collection? I realise that people probably don't know those answers yet but hey, I'm good at spewing out vague questions.

According to Jerry Beck, all the Fleischer cartoons will be released this year in two boxed sets. Then next year the Famous Studios cartoons will be released.

Good deal! Gives me something to look forward to. As you know, the Fleischer ones are my favorites, so I am glad that they'll hit shelves first.
You HAD to bring up Private Olive Oyl (shudder). Wasn't that the one where Arnold Horshack played a drill instructer who happened to be a pig?
